Termination dust in Denali

Termination Dust in Denali Posted by Hello

It snowed the first night I was in Denali. The locals call the first snow (or two) termination dust. The snow cleared the air that had been smokey all season from the wildfires.

Yarn Yard Sale

I, like every other knitter, has so much stash it is obscene. I have accumulated much in the twelve years since I started. I have given away LOTS to the GoodWill and to friends but I still have more than I can knit in this lifetime which naturally doesn't stop me from buying more. Hence my idea to have a group yarn yard sale on our city market. The permit hasn't been approved yet but I can't imagine why they wouldn't let a group of people sell hand knitted items, needles, notions and yarn.

'70s baton costume Posted by Hello

I found this stored in a box in the attic. My Mom made this for a baton contest. I wore it either in second or third grade. Wait till you see the hairdo that went with the costume.
